A Baby Blue Bowl

This baby blue glaze looks like refreshing water.
I love the contrast between the inside of the bowl which is glazed & glossy and the outside which was left unglazed & natural.

It was thrown and trimmed on the potter's wheel, carefully carved painted, and glazed by me.

This bowl was designed and made, from a lump of speckled clay into a finished semi-glazed piece.

All of my work is made using stoneware clay and fired in an electric kiln to high degrees hit. It is watertight, strong and dishwasher/oven safe, though it is always my advice to treat handmade items carefully and wash them by hand if possible.
